Visiting for the weekend from NJ and stopped in with my friend and daughter for a quick bite. Multiple appetites so variety was key. Was welcomed in the Southern fashion which is always nice to return to. Our waitress was an older woman I think her name was Ann or Angie I completely forgot but very nice. My friend and daughter ordered the Grand Slam or something like that and I'm very basic so 4 eggs & a pecan waffle. Our waitress was very nice in taking the orders but I felt a little uneasy with mine. I think she was trying to save me a few cents which is always nice but a few mumbles under her breathe is what made me uneasy. She took my order and asked me do you want any meat? I replied just the eggs & waffle thanks. Then she started walking away mumbling I just hated people to waste food/money. It was said loud enough for me to hear so I asked is there a better way. Anyway my reason for saying is this, she was very nice but the delivery was wrong. The food for my guests was good according to them. My only issue is the waffles were extremely thin. I'm not s frequent visitor since they're not in my Jersey/New York area but the times I've eaten there it's been thicker (see picture). Overall experience was great and would come again.

Yes, I'm seriously reviewing a Waffle House. The husband and I had many late breakfasts here in our early dating days and recently visited while my car was in the shop. We love sitting at the counter and watching the hustle of the griddle. I am in awe of the well-oiled machine of four to six people working away in such a tiny space, with each happily cooking, cleaning, and tending to their tiny patch of counter space, waffle griddles or cooktop. It's quite the floor show! I am huge fan of Waffle House's hashbrowns and always carefully consider my various options (scattered? Always. Capped? Maybe. Smothered? Yes please!). The food at this location is simple but good and I have a weakness for their impossibly fluffy omelets. I need a milkshake blender at home so I can get the same level of puff! Service is always attentive but not oppressive. Is this a place where we linger over brunch? No, but it's a fun way to start the day.

Not the fastest service but in their defense it is a small diner. The food was great, blueberry waffles were excellent. Price was very reasonable.

Overall a good dining experience. As usual the food was good, maybe not so healthy, but good nonetheless.

God Bless Waffle House, and God bless America. This place is like double wide heaven, luring me in with almost religious neon yellow siding. Okay, maybe I'm being a bit dramatic here, but I truly adore Waffle House. I believe it to be one of the last authentic American greasy spoon chains. When I decided to move from California to the beautiful south, I'll be honest, Waffle House was one of the deciding factors. The service kind of leaves something to be desired, as I find they like to bring out your order in courses convenient more to the establishment than to the diner, but hey, that adds to the charm, doesn't it? I'll have the all star special with coffee, bacon, over medium eggs and large hash browns smothered, covered, capped and topped, with an extra side of southern charm.

A fabulous atmosphere that absolutely screams eau de. The raison d etre of this establishment are of course the waffles The savoir faire of the wait staff is second to none. Customer orders are taken vis a vis and a table d' hote is quickly provided. The décor is trompe l' oeil and the collection of dogs playing poker that dot the walls are a succes fou. The pigs head soup contains just a soupcon of garlic . This is the place to be for either a rendez vous with old friends or a amour-propre. Highly recommended

My husband and I walked in and noticed two employees standing "guard" at the front door letting folks know where an open table could be found! Seriously? This is a small place and a 180 degree turn (if that) would let you see the entire facility. We sat down and was immediately asked what we wanted to drink and have for breakfast. We had not even looked at a menu. The place only had about 18 patrons but there were 12 WH employees tripping over themselves behind the small area where food is prepared. This location was extremely loud with people yelling orders and the jukebox was playing so loud it surpassed any decibel level one could comfortably withstand. Our food arrived and it was the most unappetizing, unappealing plate of crap we had seen in a while. The omelet was burnt on the outside, extremely dry on the inside and the ham and cheese we asked for was bereft of ham. My cheesy eggs were cold as were the grits and the raisin toast was so over buttered, my heart begged me not to eat it. The extra crispy bacon was so over cooked, it vaporized as you tried to eat it. It had the most disgusting taste and after the first bite, I had to spit it out in a napkin. Behind me was a very loud man yelling across the restaurant for Annie the waitress. This location may know everyone's name but you don't go here for a quiet, enjoyable meal unless you want the noise of an entire football arena around you. There are too many other places to go. They need to find short order cooks who can actually cook and stop burning eggs. Learn to put the eggs on something other than a very hot pan or flat grill. I won't be back.

Been to this location before and it was not too bad, however today there was a new cook trainee. I mean, Waffle House used to be the place to go when the bars closed and you don't care what it taste like, but since I do not drink anymore I thought it would be a good day just to have some breakfast. Why not, right? My daughter's bacon looked like it had been zapped by Marvin Martian's "Space Modulator". It was inedible....burnt to a crisp. I asked the waitress if my two egg whites were supposed to be this small? It looked like the size of a Quail Egg. Our waitress was pure drama queen....trashing the night staff to her co-workers. Not something you want to hear while you are trying to digest your meal. Save yourself some trouble and go to another Waffle House if you are craving it. This location just is not up to par anymore.

Cindy was the best waitress. She was friendly, efficient and had us leave with to-go cups.

I love Waffle House (since I've been introduced to them)... I stick with the same entree (cheese eggs, grits, no meat, and raisin toast). The waitstaff was pleasant.

This Waffle House is like Cheers or something. Tons of regulars that all of the staff are familiar with. Your standard fare of greasy breakfast and lunch items, with all the fixings. We've been here quite often (though we're not a "regular" yet) and eaten at various times of the day, though usually it's 2am, or maybe a brunch at 11am. My favorite is the pecan waffle. Yum. Friendly staff, quick service, delicious and artery-clogging food. Woot!
